Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you visit loopedin.games, the browser-games portal run by LoopedInGames. Most of the site is free to play with no account and no sign-up. We also offer one paid product β our Ship With AI course β which is sold through a third-party checkout (Lemon Squeezy) so that we never see your full card details. The short version: we built this site to need as little of your data as possible. No accounts, no logins, no tracking cookies.
Notice to Parents & Kids
Hi! loopedin.games is made to be safe and fun for everyone, including kids. Here is the simple version: you do not need to sign up, give your name, or tell us anything about yourself to play our games. We do not use tracking cookies, we do not show you targeted ads, and we never sell anyone's information. The only thing that costs money is our optional Ship With AI course, and a grown-up handles that purchase through a separate, secure checkout. Parents: if you ever have a question or want us to delete a message a child sent us, email loopedingames@gmail.com and we will help.
1. Who We Are
LoopedInGames ("we", "us", "our") is an independent game studio. We operate the loopedin.games portal, which hosts free HTML5 browser games (such as Donkey Run, Asteroids Destroyer, and our hidden Game Loop challenge) and promotes our Steam game, Void Balls. We are based in KrakΓ³w, Poland, and we are the data controller for any personal data this policy covers. You can reach us any time at loopedingames@gmail.com.
2. The Short Version
- We do not require an account, login, or password to use the site or play.
- We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to play our free games.
- We use cookie-less analytics that collect no personal data.
- Your high scores and course progress stay on your own device, not on our servers.
- We do not run behavioral ad targeting, we never sell your data, and we never knowingly collect data from children.
- Our one paid product (the Ship With AI course) checks out through Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment so we never see your full card number.
3. Information We Collect
Because there are no accounts on loopedin.games, we collect very little. Here is the full picture:
Information you give us voluntarily
The only time we receive personal information is when you choose to contact us β for example, by emailing loopedingames@gmail.com or clicking a sponsor or contact "mailto" link. In that case we receive whatever you include in your message (such as your email address and its contents), and we use it only to reply to you. If you buy the Ship With AI course, the checkout itself is handled by Lemon Squeezy, not by us β see Section 6 (Purchases & Payments) for exactly what data flows where.
Information collected automatically
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (see Section 4) that records anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views, referring sites, and general browser type. This information is not tied to your identity and is not used to track you across other websites.
4. Analytics (Cookie-Less)
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-less analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site so we can make better games. Umami:
- Does not use cookies.
- Does not track you across other websites.
- Does not collect personally identifiable information.
- Collects only anonymous, aggregated data (page views, referrers, browser type).
Because Umami is cookie-less and does not collect personal data, no cookie-consent banner is required under the GDPR or the ePrivacy rules, and there is nothing here to opt out of.
5. High Scores & Local Storage
Our browser games run entirely inside your browser. Game data such as your high scores, streaks,
and settings is saved on your own device using your browser's localStorage.
This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted
to or stored on our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for
loopedin.games.
6. Purchases & Payments (Ship With AI Course)
Most of loopedin.games is free. The one thing you can buy is our Ship With AI course (a one-time US$59 purchase). To keep your payment data safe, we do not process payments ourselves. Checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy, acting as our Merchant of Record.
What that means in plain terms:
- Lemon Squeezy collects and handles your payment details (such as card or PayPal information), your billing email, and any tax/billing info needed for the sale. We never see your full card number.
- Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record: it processes the payment, calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax, issues your receipt, and issues your course license key.
- Lemon Squeezy also handles refunds β refund requests are managed through them (see our Terms of Service).
- We may receive limited order information from Lemon Squeezy (for example, that a license key was issued and the associated email) so we can support you, but we do not keep a card on file and we do not run a user database of buyers.
Lemon Squeezy is an independent company with its own privacy practices. When you check out, their privacy policy governs the data they collect. Because Lemon Squeezy is based in the United States, buying the course may involve an international transfer of your billing data to the US (see Section 13).
7. Course License & Progress (Local Storage)
The Ship With AI course works without any account or studio-side database. After you buy, your
license is checked right in your own browser using Lemon Squeezy's public license API, and two
small pieces of information are saved on your device using your browser's
localStorage:
loopedin.learn.licenseβ the validated license record (so the course stays unlocked for you on this browser).loopedin.learn.completedβ the list of lessons you have finished, so your progress is remembered.
Both keys live only in your own browser. They are never sent to or stored on our servers, and we keep no server-side record of your progress. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for loopedin.games (doing so will sign the course out of that browser; you can re-validate with your license key again).
8. Sponsors & Advertising
We may show tasteful, clearly-labelled sponsor placements on the portal. Our approach is deliberately kid-safe:
- No pop-ups and no intrusive ad units.
- No behavioral ad targeting and no profiling of visitors.
- Sponsorships are clearly labelled as sponsorships.
If a sponsor placement links out to another website, that website is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one (see Section 10).
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
loopedin.games is designed to be friendly for everyone, and we know some of our players are children. We take that seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because the site does not request personal information from anyone β there are no accounts, and our analytics collect no personal data. We do not run behavioral advertising, targeted ads, or any kind of profiling directed at children, and we do not sell or share children's data with anyone.
This is consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which protects children under 13, and with the GDPR's special protections for children ("GDPR-K") in the EU, including Poland. The Ship With AI course is intended for adults, and its purchase is handled by a grown-up through Lemon Squeezy's checkout. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has somehow sent us personal information (for example, by emailing us), please contact us at loopedingames@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
Our site links out to third-party platforms where you can find more from us, including:
- Lemon Squeezy β our checkout and Merchant of Record for the Ship With AI course (see Section 6).
- Steam β where you can wishlist and buy Void Balls.
- itch.io β for the Void Balls demo and downloads.
- YouTube β for game trailers and video content.
- voidballs.game β the dedicated Void Balls landing site.
These services are operated by other companies and have their own privacy policies. Once you follow a link to one of them, this Privacy Policy no longer applies β their policy does. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
11. Your Rights in the EU/EEA/UK (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the UK, data-protection law gives you rights over any personal data a company holds about you, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and request a copy of it (portability), as well as the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. Because we do not collect personal data through the site, in most cases we simply hold nothing about you. The exceptions are (a) if you have emailed us, and (b) limited order information we may receive from Lemon Squeezy if you bought the course. To exercise any of these rights, write to loopedingames@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law allows (normally one month). For data the checkout collects, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy directly as the seller of record.
As the data controller we are based in KrakΓ³w, Poland. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority β in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, UrzΔ d Ochrony Danych Osobowych) β or with the authority in your own EU/EEA country, or the ICO in the UK.
12. Your Rights in California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of that information. We want to be clear: we do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not collect personal information through the site beyond any message you choose to send us. To make a request about correspondence you have sent us, contact loopedingames@gmail.com.
13. Retention, International Transfers & Security
We keep the data we hold to a minimum, which is the best protection of all. The only personal data we may hold is (a) email correspondence you have sent us, which we retain only as long as needed to handle your request and then delete, and (b) limited course-order information from Lemon Squeezy, which we keep only as long as needed to support you and to meet our own tax and accounting obligations. Anonymous analytics are aggregated and not linked to you. Your high scores and course progress stay on your own device, so we never retain them at all.
International transfers. Our checkout and license provider, Lemon Squeezy, is based in the United States. If you buy the course, your billing data is processed there under the safeguards described in Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy. We do not otherwise transfer personal data internationally.
While no method of internet transmission is perfectly secure, holding so little means there is very little to put at risk.
This Privacy Policy is written in plain language to be genuinely useful, not to be legal advice. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer about your specific situation.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time β for example, if we add a new feature or a new analytics tool. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so we encourage you to check back occasionally.
15. Contact Us
For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at loopedingames@gmail.com. You can also read our Terms of Service.
